The tires on the base model, which I have, are only rated to 50 mph. I've had it over that a few times.

I've had my red one a little over 60, haven't had enough room to max it out.

It's limited by a setting in the ECU. The only way to get rid of it, is to get a tune. There's a link to one tuner a few post up.
