Chase light Install

Good afternoon all, I was wondering is anyone could help me out with my chase light bar install and getting the brakes to trip the chase light brake lights.

For those that did install additional brake light on your Generals which wire did you use for the brake light? The bar needs a 12 volt positive when the pedal is pushed I tried using the ones I found at the connector under the bed to the brake lights but they are showing 3.3 volts idling (For the running lights) and 14 volts when the brakes are applied. Problem is the 3.3 is enough to trip the brake light leds in the chase bar. Here is the bar I have:

Any thoughts?
