Made a bracket to stiffen up the dash mounted windshield latch. Mounted to the bottom left side utilizing the 6mm machine screws that protrude through the mount. Attached the bottom of the bracket to the crossbar running through the inner dash. Boy did it stiffen up the dash! No movement or flexing of the dash when latching. Kept everything on the far left so as not to interfere with the center storage box.
Also relieved the latch hooks with a Dremel and a 5/8 wide round sander and fine tuned it with a file. Latches very solid now without the violent vein popping cussing.
Hope this helps someone.
One pic at a time is best I can do.

You should patent the bracket and sell it to Polaris they should of thought about that. I am not going to take mine apart and do that but if mine cracks hopefully it is under warranty I will show this picture to the dealer. I will definitely be getting out my Dremel. Thanks Alaskan.
