I'm looking at tusk terribites on cascade rims I saw on Amazon .what offset would I do better with ? Will 14 or 15 inch wheels make any difference?
and which is why i recommend 4+3.@AtRange007 Correct, which is why I recommended 5+2.
Yes either will work, but if he wants more stability, then you want the tires farther out. Also better to have the face of the tire as close to center as possible. Better for the suspension as well as the wheel bearings. I run full-out with mine, and no tire rub. It is a **** of allot more stable doing highspeed turns and way less likely to tip over. The 5+2 is good at high speed, if you are drag-racing. Not when you are flying down a trail with turns, bumps, jumps, and mud holes. The 30+ years of off-roading, in everything from four-wheelers, SXS's, jeeps, trucks, and operating recovery vehicles, have taught me that. Thats just basic offroad knowledge. Just like you don't want them to under backspace like these youngins are doing to their trucks.Either will work. If he wants more width and will mostly be running slow to mid speeds, 4+3 is fine but if high speed is desired, 6+1 or 5+2 will be more stable with less possibility of bump steer occurring. Narrower offset will also lessen the chances of tire rub at full turn.
which is why I didn't recommend spacers, but centering the wheel is highly important step. then you can go to wider A arms at a later date, Once you get the wheels centered.Agreed but the correct way to achieve a wider stance is with longer A-arms/axles, etc.
Wheels and spacers are budget friendly options.
go to polaris website and seeThanks, there is another direction I am thinking of going. EBay has new take off 15x30 pro armor crawlers . There is Polaris rims .it looks like the front tire is slightly narrower and I don't know what the offset is or if they would fit my 2024 sport. Does any one know fit
