jclark, just make sure you don't turn the pre-load so high you turn the shocks into "steel rods" and start busting other parts. Been there done that..to my RZR 800!!

Home from 10 days in the Black Hills of SD.
Hadn't been there two days and start having a very difficult shifting gear ranges. Some noise from the CVT...

So I'll inspect my DuraClutches and see if there is a problem there.

First step is to find out if the shift cable is failing...only a little over 7000 miles...

206 non-Turf Mode...so is something in the Trans damaged?

That's my day for today...

Hmmm...well one question I haven't an answer to...yet...is "are the Polaris fenders and doors a "paintable material?"

Thanks Herdfan. Just checking here...so you took your Polaris painted parts to a paint shop and they applied the Black Pearl?

Thanks

Rats! I take the old fender to the Collision Paint & Body 40 miles away and see if they can tell me.

Thanks much,

Put the General through its paces. First trip to Hatfield. Did multiple black trails and mud holes general took it well. just for reference that last pic there’s 32 inch tires under water. Check out this quick video too!

What on earth does it take to do a wheelie like that?

A 2-seater for sure. No way does a 4-seater do that.

Funny thing is I don’t even have a clutch kit. 12% gear reduction, 32s. Air down some and tender springs seem to help preload the front end.

Brought my slightly wounded General down to the coast to replace a bent a-arm (and clean it up a little). Was ready to go on a back country camping trip and hit a small tree stump while pre-running some trails. Luckily I picked up a little brother for the General last summer that was able to stand in for the camping trip :)

Removed SATV 3" lift and installed Fox RC2 shocks from Shock Therapy. Lost about 1-1.5" in ground clearance, but ride is much improved. Duraclutch showed up today, so I also installed it and the Gilomen tuned ECU. A short trip around the neighborhood fields has me itching for a bigger ride. Thankfully, we head to Moab tomorrow for the next 5 days. I'm not sure the 12v fans I installed are going to help with the 100*+ temps. 🔥
