Has anyone had any issues with their tires cracking? Have just over 1000 miles on my General XP 1000

Miles aren't as important as age or storage conditions. What about those 2 items?

1year 4 months….stored outside but covered
Wet area? Tires covered too or just the body?

Outdoor playtime rides should not have to be stored inside! Go to a non Polaris tire brand and your tires will be as good as your car cars just like they are supposed to be!!!

This is laughable, honestly...

All tires are not built like they used to be built. Since the EPA got their nose in all kinds of stuff, a lot of things don't last like they used to. Tires included in that list. Constant moisture/sun light will destroy any tire quickly now a days. It's not like an old bias ply tire from the 50's/60's that would crack a 1/2" deep and still haul a load down the road at 60 mph...

I have a 2022 Polaris general xp1000 4 seater with 109 miles on mine about 3 months of riding here in Maine and all 4 of my tires are cracked bad and Polaris will not warranty them, guess that’s what you get when you spend 35k on a unit from Polaris! Plus I had purchase a 3 year extended warranty which apparently doesn’t cover anything. My next step is a lawyer, news channel, and spreading the word.
@Sekavk87

Did you let it sit outside when not riding?
Where you doing a lot of road driving with salt on the roads?

PM sent.

Yes it sits outside and very little road driving with no salt. I also have another ranger from 2016 that did all same rides over last year plus previous years that doesn’t have a single weather crack. Dealer agrees it was a bad compound mixture or something went wrong but their hands are tied they said it’s up to Polaris.

Probably spend more on a lawyer then it would cost to just buy good tires

Your probably right there it’s too bad too it’s a great machine overall
****, if I can get two riding seasons out of a set of tires I'm doing good!!

Now, here's the learning...every tire sold in the US must have the "born on date" on the tire. It's usually hot stamp date. Learn this from Son-in-law that was a store manager for Discount Tire.

I bought a set of tires for my Silverado, at a reputable Tire Shop where we live. That night what when I learned. Sure enough the brand new Michelin tires were actually seven (7) years old. Had been sitting in someone's warehouse.
Took the truck back and commented on the tire age and how that would affect life and usability. They took my truck back and put on a set of tires with a born on showing the tires to be six months old.
Did not know that. Learned. If I order tires for the General, I tell them I want tires with a born on date less than a year old.
Just a lesson I learned.

Date code started in 2000 . Might catch **** for this but I have a set of tires on my Jeep that don't have a date code . Bought them in 2002 ( ish ) Have been on 2 Jeeps since then ( both stored inside ) . They have around 8000 miles on them . Don't use them on the highway anymore, Jeep gets trailered to trailheads .
Probably way better rubber back then than what we get now.

Have you contacted Polaris directly? "Sometimes" that can help get things resolved if your dealer isn't getting things done. I don't care if said dealer says they have contacted Polaris, I would do it myself.
While the thought of lawyering up always sounds good, a set of good tires will cost you $1,000, problem solved and back to riding again. A lawyer will likely cost you that much for a couple hours of talking on the phone and filling out paperwork. Life isn't always fair...
