I've been looking for an answer on what the max operating speed should be if your riding with the tip out windshield up. I've ridden with it up at 40MPH but was curious what others are doing. I live in Southern Arizona so heat will be an issue.

Howdy JO and welcome to the forum.
We have the 3 position Polaris Glass flip up windshield and really like it and will be on our next machine also. We have had it open at 50 mph many times and all is well. We usually have it in the slightly open position as we have a Ryfab sliding rear glass window and that makes a world of difference. A Ryfab slider will be on our next machine too.
We have trail ridden with the front one wide open but when there are over hanging tree branches or it is rough and bouncy we put it in the first open position or close it. Just to be on the safe side. Just use common sense and play with it and you will find what works best for you.
We are in Payson, AZ
Good luck and enjoy that General.
