I installed the Expedition cargo rack. The milk crates have been replaced with a duffle bag of trail equipment.

I was very impressed with their customer service. And they actually have installation videos which are fantastic. It was an easy install.

There are additional accessories you can get to put on the rack, but so far I've just done the spare tire mount.

The spare does not impact the rear camera.....and you can see fine enough out the rear view mirror.

You may want to beef up the bed support tubing.

Possible Fix For Rear Bed "Spreading Issue"?

I thought I'd add my hopeful solution to preventing the "bed spreading". I've read reports that the rear bed sides can gradually spread or bend outward to the point that the rear tailgate won't latch close. First off, I have not experienced any spreading. But I also haven't added a heavy rear...

I installed a Razorback rack recently and really like it. I do plan on loading it up and riding rough terrain so after reading the threads linked by Renob4x4 I am interested if either of them worked? Any long term test results? I like the idea of welding in a steel bar like XrayDoc88 did without removing the bed.......

Sweet, I have had mine on for 2 years. Just readjusted the rack. I am using the beefiness of the rack to prevent the bed spreading issue. The rear gate really helps keep everything nice and stiff. With this rack and gate I can't imagine there ever being a spreading issue.

This is gonna be my next purchase for my general. I have watched the install video already, appreciate a company like that, that take the time out to make a video of how to install.
