We have the premium roof on our General and it has the headliner. Are we supposed to cut the headliner to be able to install a rear view mirror? If we don't want to cut it, what are our options? Or are we going to have to cut it for any mirror?

I have the premium roof, with the headliner, and the cut out for the mirror is in the bottom of the sound bar.

I'm in the process of enlarging the cut for my Polaris camera mirror so I can get to the cable and plug it back in. Froze and wouldn't turn off, so I unplugged it.

I'll take another look and a pic and post tomorrow.

Looked at mine this afternoon.

No you do not have to cut the headliner on the inside of the premium roof to get the Polaris Rear view mirror in.

The headliner goes partially up and over the cage top tube, so you can mount the mirror on the cage tube with the headliner material over it.

I think you are talking about the Deluxe roof with the built in stereo, not the Premium roof. We have the premium roof without speakers, etc. It looks to me like we will have to cut the headliner to add a mirror.
