So I bought the 2203318 pads for the rear and I got 2 pair, or 4 pads.

But the 2205949 for the front came with 1 pair, or 2 pads.

I used these numbers that is what Babbitts shows I need. Have I been ripped, or is this right?

EDIT: Ok I do only get 2 pads. 90 bucks for front brake pads?

Indeed it does look like you have to purchase front brake pads by the wheel, thus two.
And you purchase rear brake pads by the location, the back of the machine.

Thanks Pirate. Well I didn't know about polarisparts123 . So I have already spent the dough.

But now that I have seen how much pad you get with a new set, then mine are not as worn as bad as I thought after 2400 miles.

So I checked out their price for the 2205949 and true it came up $28.80 however after their 14.99 shipping their total is no better than the ones I already bought.

For some reason, polarisparts123 comes up with ridiculous shipping charges.
I called and was told their program calculates shipping cost based on your zip code.
If cost is actually lower, they refund the difference. So they told me.

The shipping charges are based on your Zip Code, also depends on residential and commercial address.

Has PolarisParts123 refunded your shipping charge from the side cover you purchased?

And I have to ask why a company would create more work for themselves with this supposed shipping practice.

So long story short. You have to buy 3 boxes total if you want new brake pads all the way around if you go with OEM.

So unless you find a deal it can cost your upwards of $140.

I agree on the the 3 boxes and $140. I purchased OEM pads 2 weeks ago off ebay and the total was $134.97.

I bought mine off ebay also and got away with paying $126.25 for all of them.

PolarisParts123 might be a good place for the best price, but you may have to ask for better shipping fees.
