I was reading posts about adding rear speakers to the PMX-2 with the factory 23 pin connector and saw a bunch of wacky ideas so I decided to figure out where the pin outs for the rear speakers, remote and sub outputs were. I knew they existed but Polaris decided it wasn't important enough to add the wires so we could later add rear speakers or an amp.
Attached are pics of the pinouts (minus the sub outputs) for the factory 23 pin plug going into the PMX-2 and the harness I built to tie into the rear speaker harness. You will need to buy the connectors and know how to unlock the connector to add the pins. Fader and balance work perfectly and sound quality and dynamics has improved significantly.
