I started with a pawl protector rxutv-xp-1-ptb-a for a RZR xp1000. I just guessed as to what I could convert. If I had it to do over again I would just buy a 3/8 clevis and start from scratch. The pawl protector is aluminum which prevented welding since I don't own a tig........yet.
I cut off the flange portion that bolts to the studs on the firewall. I then used a piece of 1.5 .125 angle iron and welded a piece of strap that then bolts to the original pawl protector. That should do it but I didn't like the way the aluminum flexed under load (when I had it engaged to the brake) I removed the part that engages and locks the brake and remade that piece out of mild steel that doesn't flex.
As anyone who's ever made stuff knows, I had this on and off probably 30 times modifiying it before I was happy with it.
