Looking for rear paddles that will fit a stock 2016 general. Not sure about width, diameter, and # of paddles.

Hoping to hear from someone with some experience with paddles on a general.

Funny, I bought all four to keep same tire diameter cause no one makes a 27" paddle.

Now I see a 27" paddle on Polaris web site under new products. Could have saved some money by only buying two rear paddles.

How was paddles on the General? Im looking to get either 28 or 29 inch paddles for mine and putting on stock wheels.
Also are fronts needed or do they help much?

Just got back from a week at Coos Bay. Paddles performed well. Ran 6 psig in all four tires. Used 4x4 mode for best performance. The rear 28" paddles did rub once on the bed dump handle when I bottomed out rear suspension. No damage, just some noise.

If I were to do over, I'd put these on the front to get some extra traction on the front wheels. I was surprised I needed 4x4 drive. Big performance difference when the front wheels were driving.

In 2x4 it felt like I was pushing the front tires thru the sand with a lot of rear wheel spin. In 4x4 the rig would just start moving sooner with little wheel spin when in deep sand.

With all that said, my buddy did fine with stock tires in 4x4 mode.

I really enjoy driving the general. Especially in tight technical trails. We rode in the trees alot. Just barely fit in some cases.

Definitely need some front and rear led lites for night riding. The general has no reverse lights.

Used the wench, 100' rope, and a come along several times to get out of some sticky situations.
