Looking at purchasing the general as soon as it comes out here in Canada. I've owned a 2011 rzr 800, 2013 rzr Xp900, and currently a 2014 ranger 900.
I need more power and suspension, this ranger just doesn't have it lol.

Welcome! You will love it!
Welcome!! What province are you in?
BC has some amazing mountain trails. Not sure if it's ATV only but Fraser Valley seems like a great place to take your Polaris General to.

Hey welcome to the show! Do you have a date or expectation?
No not yet. I have to sell my ranger first. But the dealer has no dates yet. It seems that Canada is getting screwed over.
Hello!
I'm a new guy checking in. I just picked up our new General last week from our local dealer here in southwest Arkansas. I had absolutely no complaints about our previous Rangers but I was wanting something a little more sporty and more trail riding friendly. The General fits the bill just about perfectly.

Do you just use them to ride the trails or also for work purposes?

Both. We have a large ranch here so I need a rig I can work with also. The sport nature of the General makes checking cattle a little more fun than using a Ranger. Although the bed isn't as big as a Ranger's, it's adequate for my needs.
Welcome there seams to be a lot of good information on this site specially having a machine that is the first year in production.

Welcome! And good luck with the price reduction. Be sure to rub our faces in it!
