New General (Possibly)

Although I do not have confirmation on this at this time.
It appears that Polaris has created a separate model category for the General.
I’m trying to decipher the code at this time.
Any way, we have a new model coming, with its own catagory called Gen,
with model G22G.
It’s not listed as for the military.
It has:
Ride Command
Doors
Mirrors
Bed Rack
Roof
Center Console.

Curious to see how the rear fold down bench plays with the sealed HVAC cab. Or is it one or the other?

According to the patent drawings, it's a rear 60/40 fold up bench like a pickup truck. Any reason it should be an issue?

Drawings show the seats fold down to increase bed space. Is there a cab divider between the rear seats and bed area? If so, does that remove easily to expand the bed area?

based on their latest teaser email, I pulled up the image and it looks like it will be the "Admiral".....

Looks to me like it will be called Expedition

Ya I saw that too ! just thought it was odd that the image was named "admiral teaser" .
playing around on their website, this pulls up a 403 Forbidden : https://www.polaris.com/en-us/off-road/XPEDITION
Where https://www.polaris.com/en-us/off-road/admiral takes you to the lost page, so I think your right on the XPEDITION
Well, if Polaris is going to go with Expedition, Can Am will need to make a Suburban now. 🤪
Bet there's an option for a Polaris rooftop tent $1999.99

The closer I look, I am seeing both now.

You're seeing the schematic for the rear seats folding and the front buckets removing like the current general

Some more frames taken from the teasers. Flat roofline is a welcome addition. Hopefully the windshield isn't so tiny and more ranger like.

I did the same. The body lines look more like a Ranger with a General bed. Front end looks beefy.

I agree. I think they used the Ranger Northstar cab and grafted a General bed onto it. Sure hope it has bucket seats though!! And some type of long travel suspension

Looks like bucket in front and 3 bench in the rear. Likely 5 lug. Hoping for a dynamix option and maybe another inch or two of travel. 68 wide. That's the dream

I would bet you are right. And like the automobile industry, I would bet they release the loaded to the gills, top of the line version first just to get the early adopters. They are the ones that are not as sticker shocked and will pay premium prices for the latest and best of everything.

Then the following year, they may realease "deluxe" or "sport" versions of the same chassis for the more common buyer. While the rest of us are just eyeing up what we may be able to afford used in the next 3 years! (smile)

Site does the same thing before Snowcheck is opened up every year for snowmobiles.
