First time at the St. Anthony sand dunes completed. Riding in the dunes is much different than I’m used to, and it took a bit to get comfortable. Lots of throttle is the answer to most situations. We couldn’t climb all the way up the big hills like the turbo guys, but our rig never got stuck. Some paddle tires would help tremendously, although I had no problem turning around when upward momentum stopped. We were also the only General on the sand. Here’s a couple pictures, and I’ll be uploading videos from the GoPro soon. After 7 hours on the sand we are pretty tired tonight.

Looks like it would be a good time.
Wouldn't mind trying it, at least once.

Went back to the dunes last weekend, took some more GoPro videos. In the process of adding five to my channel. They are pretty boring to watch, but fun to make. I can tell you the Pro Armor tires are not a great match to the General. Luckily I bought them used mainly for the beadlock wheels. I’m either going to sell them to buy SS360 tires, or cut the paddles down.
