Had to have my General in for a overheating issue. machine would overheat and go into limp mode. Machine had less then 100 miles on it. Fan would come on around 200 but would not cool machine, had to shut motor off and cycle the fan on/off to get below 200.

dealer called Polaris Tech line and Polaris recommended the following steps, clean radiator (radiator was clean with no obstruction) check water pump (water pump was working) replace head gaskets.

Dealer replaced head gaskets and all is well now, put on 50 miles with no temps over 210. most of the time runs around the 200 mark. Dealer said that Polaris knows of a head gasket problem causing cooling blocks in the head.

just a heads up.
