So I finally got some rc2s on my general tonight after shock therapy being sold out for what felt like forever. I’m getting everything bolted up and my thermostat for my heater is rubbing on the spring on the driver side and the heater core lines are rubbing the shock reservoir on the passenger side. I zip tied them out of the way for now but am worried about the zip ties breaking or wearing through the coolant lines. Anybody have any better ideas? 883A532B-5F64-40E3-9CAD-E5047AB4EC93.jpeg 1FF53125-7B9B-4A76-88F5-46FACA6C420B.jpeg 9D3868FC-D35A-4209-B4EE-4317FD8A3306.jpeg 040A8E73-2F4F-44A0-86CA-8E27A2F402C4.jpeg

If the current zip-tie fix works but you are wanting something more permanent than poly ties, get some stainless steel cable ties. If you are concerned about the stainless cutting into the hose, then slide a few sleeves of shrink tubing over the tie and heat before installing.

I'm sure there are better, more costly and time consuming solutions out there but this one is cheap and easy.

I had the same problem w the thermostat. I raised it out of the way by cutting the one hose. The other has enough slack to compensate. & it didn’t take much to clear everything.
