Yes, there is a quieter exhaust. I just installed a HMF Twin Quiet Loop exhaust on mine and it has made a pretty good reduction in the exhaust noise. I am working on a video now that I will post on my build thread, but it is much quieter. We have a 2016 Ranger 900xp Crew and it is pretty close to the same sound level now whereas is was significantly higher.

Was the HMF exhaust you bought specific for the general or does it cross reference to another model

Man, that looks sharp! Yes, I know the dust your talking about. Ok, I guess you sold me on it. I'm gonna have to pull the trigger. I already have the MBRP Powertech 4 and will either sell it or swap them out when I need the quieter set up for hunting. I do a bit of Coyote hunting and there is no such thing as being too quiet. Thanks for the reply and your build is looking good, can't wait to see more!

Will be following this very closely. I’ve done about all I can do to sound deaden the cab. If this in fact makes a big difference it will be my next project. Too loud for hunting currently.
