I have noticed on many photos on here how clean and shiny some of the exhaust pipes are. I have a 2018 G4 and the exhaust looks terrible. It is rusty and scaly. I tried using scotch bright when I wash the machine but it doesn't really work. I know ot wont be shiny silerand new but it could sure look better than it does.

Any Suggestions out there

Mud packed on and burnt looks like rust. Pressure washer usually takes it off well enough for me. Break out your polisher and go to town. Anything can be polished with enough elbow grease.

wd40 and scotch brite is what I have seen being used with good results.

Thanks for the ideas. I will give them a shot this weekend. It's to cold to ride so it is time to get her all cleaned up, drop the skid change all the fluids. I have a brake job to do as well.

For my SLP exhaust cover that developed some crud on it. SLP recommended to use 000 steel wool to clean it up/polish it I ended up getting them to replace the cover under warranty, so I'm not sure it thst technique works. But is what they recommended...
