The tolerances on the drivetrain in these machines are pretty high, barring some extreme noise, clanking or grinding just drive the **** out of it while you have warranty.. there is a possibility after you put a few miles on it and break it in the gears will quiet down. Just remember to do your initial DDF fluid change in the front diff at 25hrs. If should definitely not make any real annoying noise.

I agree. noise caught me off gaurd . My 21 ranger is quiet as a mouse. Yes I will use it and see where it ends up. I was lucky and got a promotion on warranty so I got 12 mo. 2.5 months in and 150 miles. I will do drivetrain fluids every 25 hours, 500 miles just because.

Holy man listen to mine! Only does it when front end is engaged. Doesn't do it in 2wd. Lol I have over 3000mi on it now but mostly in 2wd. Change my case oil every 25hrs since new, no out of the ordinary shavings either. Not to worried at this point but let me know what you all think. Minor vibration when it's doing it.

I can rebuild it, and it will be quiet.👍

It’s actually a combination of a couple of things.
The Bearings are one.
The PropShaft depending on year model.
And its inherent design flaws.

Thanks boss, for your info. I've already decided that your the guy id call if I blow the tranny some day or put a hole in the case. I'm pretty careful with turf mode and reverse. (and keep selonoid and switch connections clean) And when the diff stops doing diff things as well lol. I even took your advice and Jack it up to get all the fluid out of it. 👍
