I'm thinking about trading my Ranger in on a General, but I'd like to know if it has an open rear diff. I really like my locking/unlocking rear diff in the Ranger, so I can use it around the house without tearing up the grass.
Would an open diff be a weak link in the drivetrain with 100 hp. Looking at the different environments and modifications done to the General such as tire sizes etc, I wonder if the rear main diff would hold up. This is a modified RZR not a modified Ranger. ??
closed or open dif should not be a big deal because of horse power,my last 2 f150s u just pull the 4x4 switch out to lock.and all speed related.i miss my turf mode on my ranger:frown2:it was prob easier for polaris just to run rzr dif
