CV boot replacement

Good afternoon force, I have a quick question I recently purchased a used 2017 general 4. I noticed this past week that I have grease present around the boot and on the inner part of the rim on the drivers side rear tire. The boot placement is pretty deep into that part of the knuckle, or hub so I cannot see if anything is broken. The vehicle only has 19 hours on it so I highly doubt that it was broken from use.

Your post made me think that maybe something was installed incorrectly or broken from factory, causing the grease to leak.

Is it thick bearing type grease That is used inside the CV boot? What would you check first if you were me?

Thank you
