Check out sportsmansguide.com, I have several of their coolers and work just as good as yeti, they have soft sided as well, I use both in the back of my general, price is half or even more than that of yet I, check them out, you won't be dissapointed

This. Just got one... well before my General! Ha!
looks like it is the optimum size to minimal wasted space in the bed.

 

I have a Polaris Northstar cooler. If you temper it, it stays cold for a long long time. It was a lot less than the comparable sized YETI. It's built well, seems indestructible, and has tie down points that allow it to be opened while strapped in. Important feature.

Pelican makes some great coolers that can be strapped down and still open the top. They also have a very nice latch system instead of the rubber straps.

Do you have an OZARK? I was looking at the Ozark 35. I like the bin that comes with it.

I have a "Frosted Frog" cooler in the back of the General. I have a SATV cargo box in the back, so I went with a 20 qt. cooler.

 

Yeti or Rtic 30 or 40 Back Pack or Bag Chests are great!

 

I have a Yukon. Every bit as good as the high $$ name brands.

 

Another vote for Grizzly. We have had ours for several years works as good or better then any yeti I've seen and made in the USA. I got lucky and found a close out color on sale. I just wish they would make a wheel kit for them but I made my own.

 

If you're interested, an electric cooler is another option. We got a Massimo MX-30 from Costco (looks like they're sold out of this model online, but I think it comes around once a year or so), and one of the reasons was because it fits in the General bed with the EMP bed cover installed. I'm not sure how we'll strap it down, but we'll figure something out.

We test-ran this thing on our last camping trip, and it seemed to do a pretty good job keeping things cool while running on a 12V cigarette charger. We're in the market for an external battery (Jackery 500 or similar) for long days of use, so we don't drain down the battery on the G4. Otherwise, we're hoping it's a good cooler for the UTV.
