Buy up the market. They are going to be the value of DZ 302
.
.
Why would they? 95% of the market is CVT. Unless you go to a Honda or a Kubota/Bobcat chances are you have a CVT machine. There has to be a weak link somewhere and personally, I'm cool with it being a $200 belt.... That said my stock belt has 4k miles on itWhile the xpedition is a nice machine, I would have hoped for 50K it would NOT have a belt. Will Polaris ever make anything other than a CVT?
General is no longer in the order menu.I'm not so sure about that. I haven't heard anything about the Gen being discontinued. Its a solid competitor in the sport/utility market and its a good price point. The Xpedition is a whole different category. Awesome, yes.......but at a way different price point. And we've all seen how Polaris loves having entries at different price points.
They may put it into the "inactive" category with the RS1 and RZR 570 while running the Xpeditions down that same production line, but I doubt it'll be totally discontinued. Its too popular and a true sport/utility model.
Yes. And it gets the Gen 2 motor like in the new XP.Anyone know if they got rid of the cheesy reverse chain in the Expedition?
transmission no longer has chains. All gears now.Anyone know if they got rid of the cheesy reverse chain in the Expedition?
I would call your Dealer.Maybe just in Canada? I didn't call my dealership to try to order one, but the US website still lets you build your own.

Agreed 100%These manufacturers are getting to a point where they are pricing the hard working man out of the market.
I have a well paying job but I have worked many years to get to this point in my life, younger guys and gals just getting started making 50K or 60K are not going to be able to afford these new machines. When sales start to drop because the prices are too High then maybe they will change things but I doubt it. There are only so many of us older folks that have enough money to purchase these new side by sides . I know people will shell out there money for a 30K to 45K machine but not this guy….
That's what old Jeep Cherokee XJ's are for.younger guys and gals just getting started making 50K or 60K are not going to be able to afford these new machines.
This is EXACTLY why you take "insider info" from a dealer with a grain of salt. They want to sell you a new machine. Lets start telling people they are no longer going to be available.I called my dealer. My salesman said one of the first questions he had after the release was wether Polaris was going to discontinue the General. He was told no. They are still able to order them. He feels that they will continue the General till sales drop.
