I know there are several posts on this subject. My General has been making a clunking noise for the past month or more. I Changed the brake pads and added the Hillman Springs as described on other posts. I thought there was a lot of movement in the rear Slip Yoke so I pulled the entire prop shaft out. Thought is could be bad U-joints. Those all see good. Not sure if the rear Slip Yoke has wore as it seems like it moves up and down but I don't know how much play is in them. I don't want to guess and replace something that is not needed. I then checked the differential shaft. There doesn't appear to be up/down movement like a bad bearing but when rotating it both directions it does make a clunk "before" that shaft even rotates. Not sure if this is normal or not so I made a short video hoping one of the experts on here can give me some guidance. It seems to rotate smooth. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Adding to this...as an FYI - both front half shafts are in the differential.
